I conduct  teleseminars and webinars on a regular basis. Some are free, most are almost free ($10). All come with downloadable recordings.

Why I do almost-free teleseminars and webinars:
The current craze with teleclasses and webninars is to offer them free. When you sign up for one of these, you know that the host is going to put on a strong pitch for a product — usually one that costs $300 or more.

I’ve tried that model, and I really don’t like it. If I’m giving a class, I’d rather focus on teaching rather than selling. In 75 to 90 minutes, I can cover a lot of material, especially if I don’t have to focus on what I’ll be selling. The result, is a much better experience for those who sign up for the class.

In addition, with so many freebies available, people sign up for classes and never get around to listen. If you invest even the small amount of $10, you are more apt to actually listen and get value from the presentation.
